Meet Jan & Leena
Jan and Leena are the owners of Tokka Safaris. Jan was born and raised in Lapland, while Leena has called Kittilä home for many years.
They both love spending time outdoors throughout the year, and snowmobiling is not only a shared passion but, through Tokka Safaris, also part of their everyday work.
And then there’s Kyösti, their four-legged team member, who is often around to welcome guests at our safari house.

Welcome to our most popular snowmobile safari: Levi Fell Tour!
We drive around Levi fell in varied terrain, enjoying the scenery. We continue to the café for coffee or hot juice with a bun. During the safari we may also see reindeer.

Family safari with kid's snowmobiling
Best for families who want to experience snowmobiling together.
Adults get to enjoy snowmobiling through the snowy landscapes around Levi, while children travel safely in a sledge pulled by the guide. Halfway through the safari, we stop at a dedicated area where children get their own turn, driving children’s snowmobiles in a safe and controlled environment.
We finish the adventure with warm drinks and biscuits before heading back.
Christmas Safari to Meet Santa with snowmobile
Ho ho ho! Welcome to join me from the beginning of December until the first week of January for an adventure on a snowmobile through a snowy winter landscape. I look forward to welcoming you in my beloved cabin, where the Christmas spirit is always present. You’ll also get to go on a reindeer ride and present me your gift wishes.

Tokka Safaris offers a wide range of winter activities in Levi, with a special focus on small-group snowmobile experiences. Yes. To drive a snowmobile on our guided safaris in Levi, you must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid driving licence that is applicable in Finland.
You must carry your driving licence with you during the safari. Guests without a valid driving licence cannot drive a snowmobile but can join as a passenger where the safari allows.
No. You don’t need previous snowmobiling experience to join most of our guided snowmobile safaris in Levi.
Before setting off, our guides will show you how to operate the snowmobile and explain the most important driving and safety instructions. We keep our groups small, so our guides can also keep an eye on the group and help you along the way.
Dress warmly in layers suitable for the Arctic winter. We provide the snowmobiling equipment you need for the safari, including a thermal overall, boots, gloves, balaclava and helmet.
We recommend wearing warm base and mid-layers underneath the thermal overall. On particularly cold days, extra layers are always a good idea.
Yes! We offer several family-friendly snowmobile safaris in Levi. Children can travel safely in a sleigh pulled by the guide, and some of our family safaris are also suitable for children aged 1–2 years. Most other snowmobile safaris have a minimum age of 3 years.
